KING'S 2016 SUMMER FIELD HOCKEY CAMP SLATED FOR JULY 18-22

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College Field Hockey Camp will be held this summer at the college's Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex in Wilkes-Barre Township.

The camp will be conducted July 18-22, 2016

The camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon each day. Cost of the camp is $100 for the week and includes a tee-shirt.

Campers will be instructed in ball-handling, attack moves and dodges, one-on-one defense, team defense and circle play. Goalie instruction will also take place and all goals are asked to bring their own equipment.

Passing, positioning, and support play will also be taught while game-like drills and scrimmages will take place daily.   Campers will be evaluated and grouped according to skill level and age. Players can expect a small player-to-coach ratio.
