SWIMMERS FALL TO MOUNT SAINT MARY'S

NEWBURGH, NY - - The King's College men's and women's swimming team fell to host Mount Saint Mary's College Saturday in Newburgh, NY. The MSM women posted a 115-75 victory while the men won by a 73-29 count.
For the men, Eric Stencovage captured the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke at 1:02.92 and 1:08.92, while also placing second in the 50 freestyle at 24.69. Matthew Lysy placed second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:30.77.
On the women's side Becca Smith won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 12:09.23, and was second in the 100 freestyle at 1:02.26. Maggie Nealer captured the 200 freestyle with a 2:10.78, and also won the 100 freestyle at 1:00.86. Additionally, she placed second in the 500 freestyle at 5:51.06. Carissa Cook captured the 50 freestyle at 29.29 and finished second in the 100 butterfly at 1:11.41.
King's returns to the pool on Wednesday with a 6:00 p.m. home match-up against conference foe Elizabethtown College in Scandlon Gymnasium.
