WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM HOSTING MEET THE PLAYERS DAY, RED VS. WHITE SCRIMMAGE

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's basketball team will host its annual "Meet the Players Day" Red vs. White intrasquad scrimmage Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.

This annual event will begin with introduction of this year's team as they are divided into "Red" and "White" teams, wearing King's brand new home and away uniforms. The teams will then play a full five-on-five game-type scrimmage.

Members of the college community as well as the pubic are invited to attend the scrimmage free of charge.

Last season's team finished 16-10 and was locked in a three-way for first-place in the final Freedom Conference standings. All but one player returns as the Lady Monarchs figure to again challenge for the Freedom Conference title.
