Four Lady Monarch Tennis Players Named All-Freedom Conference; Madeline Griffin Tabbed Rookie of the Year

Annville, Pa. – Madeline Griffin earned “Rookie of the Year” honors as well as a second-team All-Freedom Conference selection. Sara Lynn was named to the first team, while Emily Biffen and Nicole Molino each were honorable mention choices.

Madekine Griffin
Griffin played second flight singles for the Lady Monarchs and earned an 8-6 record overall and had a 5-1 mark in Freedom Conference play. She was also part of King's number one doubles team along with Lynn going 7-8 overall, but posting a 4-2 mark in league play.

Sara Lynn
This was Lynn's second selection to the All-Freedom Conference squad after earning second-team honors in 2012. She posted a 6-11 overall record and notched a 4-2 league mark playing in the top flight singles. She paired with Molino to form the King's top double pair going 4-2 in Freedom Conference play.

Emily Biffen
Biffen returns to the All-Conference squad after being a second-team selection last season. Biffen played both third and fourth singles this season going 6-7 overall and 5-4 at third flight singles. Biffen went 4-2 in singles competition in Freedom Conference play. Biffen teamed with Liz Demko to go 5-5 in second flight doubles.

Nicole Molino
Molino is a first-time All-Freedom Conference selection. Molino went 8-6 overall playing most of her matches at number six singles where she went 5-3 and was 4-1 in Freedom Conference competition. She also played nine matches as part of the number three doubles pair going 5-4.
