THREE KING'S SENIORS TO PLAY IN MAC SENIOR ALL-STAR BASKETBALL GAMEREADING, PA --- Three members of the King's College men's and women's basketball teams will participate in the third-annual Middle Atlantic Conference Senior All-Star Basketball Games scheduled for Sunday March 15
th at the George C. Bollman Center on the campus of Albright College. The men's team will be represented by seniors
Rich Douglas and
Tim O'Shea while the women's team will be represented by senior
Marissa Manning.
A Special Olympics Clinic will be held at 12:15 p.m. in the John Scholl LifeSports Center before a Three-Point Shooting Contest and Dunk Contest takes place at 1:00 p.m. in the George C. Bollman Center. The women's game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. with the men's game to follow at 3:00 p.m. Both games will feature senior players from the Freedom Conference playing against senior players from the Commonwealth Conference.
In lieu of admission, donations to the Greater Berks Food Bank will be accepted as an admission fee for both games. Donation boxes will be located in the lobby entrance to the Bollman Center.

ManningManning, a 6-foot forward concluded her senior year averaging 10.4 points and 6.6 rebounds a game while adding 42 assists and 19 blocks. She was named to the All-Freedom team as an honorable selection. Manning concluded her fine career for the Monarchs with 931 points, 515 rebounds, 107 assists, and 89 blocks. In her four years she started in 87 of the 88 games she played in and was a member of the 2011-12 team that advanced to Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
DouglasDouglas, a 5-11 point guard had his best season at King's and led the Monarchs to their first Freedom Conference Tournament appearance since the 2009-10 season. He finished the year with 23 points, 49 rebounds, 35 assists, and 20 steals. Douglas ended the year as the starting point guard the last 10 games after coming off the bench to begin the year. He concluded his career with 30 points, 96 rebounds, 69 assists, and 36 steals.
O'SheaO'Shea, a 6-3 forward finished his senior campaign averaging 5.3 points and 3.7 rebounds a game. He also posted 11 blocks, eight assists and nine steals coming off the bench for the Monarchs. He concluded his Monarch career with 631 points, 342 rebounds, 73 assists, 43 blocks, and 41 steals.
