Sophomore guard Patrick Galvin helped the Monarchs to a 1-1 week, including a big MAC Freedom win Wednesday evening over conference leading Eastern University. For the week, Galvin averaged 10.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals, as he turned the ball over just three times and shot 10-of-18 from the floor (.600). Wednesday against Eastern, Galvin finished with five points, six rebounds and two assists, and then followed that up Saturday with 16 points, a career-high 12 rebounds and season-best five assists, adding three steals against FDU-Florham at home.
