Senior Josh Bailey did everything the Monarchs needed this week to pick up a pair of nail-biting wins, both huge in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom playoff race. Wednesday at Delaware Valley University, Bailey finished with a solid overall game of six points, four rebounds and six steals, but nailed a clutch three-pointer with eight seconds to go in regulation to send the game to overtime, where the Monarchs won 77-70. Saturday against Wilkes, the Monarchs eked out a 73-71 win over their crosstown rival as Bailey posted 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists, playing all 40 minutes.Â
