Tara Weitz ran a career-best 6,000-meter time of 25:24 to finish 98th overall out of 357 finishers to lead the Monarchs in the white race at the Paul Short Run on Saturday. She bested her previous best of 25:28 she ran at the NCAA Mideast Regionals last year. She took over a minute off her time of 26:39.00 that she ran at Paul Short as a freshman.
