Justin Le Cadre had a great meet on Friday night on a damp and rainy day at the Misericordia Twilight Meet scoring 24 points for the Monarchs in the throws by winning the discus, finishing second in the hammer, and finishing third in the shot put. His day began with the hammer as he finished second to teammate Jackie Ni with a career best throw of 48.64 meters (159'7") on his fourth toss. That mark is currently third in the conference and fourth in the Mideast Region. Next up was the shot put where he finished third with a mark of 14.00 meters (45'11.25") on his sixth and final throw. He struggled to find proper footing in the circle on the wet day but managed to record his third best mark and the third best in program history. The junior then ended the day with the seventh-best discus mark in program history at 41.55 meters (136'4") under the lights on his fifth attempt to top the field of 12.
