Junior Emily Sims finished her third season as a Monarch with a strong week, helping the King's women's lacrosse team to its first MAC Tournament playoff win in program history with a 10-4 win over DeSales University Tuesday. Sims posted 10 points in two games, scoring seven goals to go with three assists, six ground balls, 12 shots, three caused turnovers and six draw controls. Tuesday against DeSales in the MAC Quarterfinals, Sims posted four goals and an assist, adding five ground balls, two caused turnovers and three draw controls in a 10-4 win. The junior then followed that up with five points in a loss to FDU-Florham, scoring three times to go with two assists and three draw controls.Â
