Daigle had another strong weekend in between the pipes making 90 saves against two of the top teams in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference, holding both teams below their season scoring averages in very close losses. The freshman began the weekend with 36 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to Nazareth. The Monarchs were 16.7 seconds away from upsetting the Golden Flyers before Nazareth knocked in the game-tying goal after pulling their goalie for an extra attacker in the final minute. The Flyers then scored the game-winner with 1:18 left in overtime after a turnover inside the blue line. Daigle ended the weekend by equaling his career-high of 54 saves as the Monarchs dropped a 3-0 decision to UCHC-leading Utica College. The netminder kept the Pioneers off the scoreboard for the first 26:36 of the game. UC then scored two insurance goals in the third period, the first off a rebound, and the second off a deflection. Daigle was especially good on penalty kills this weekend as he saved a combined 30 shots, including 23 against the Pioneers, and didn't allow a goal on 13 successful penalty kills. The freshman finished the weekend with a 2.43 GAA and a .947 save percentage in 123:47 minutes of action.
