Senior goalkeeper Matt Basile started both games for the Monarchs this weekend, making 46 total saves while twice posting career-highs for saves. On the weekend, he posted a .597 save percentage while seeing 114 shots at him. Saturday, Basile posted 21 saves in a 15-4 loss to Arcadia, and then followed that up with 25 saves in a 16-6 loss to Scranton Sunday afternoon. His 23 saves per game and save percentage both lead the MAC Freedom after the first weekend.
