Tara Johnson qualified for the MAC Championship in the 800-meter run and the 1,500-meter run with the top times in the conference at the Golden Ram Invitational. The junior finished second out of 24 in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.41. She was the top Division III finisher. Johnson then won the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:55.16 to top a field of 30.
