King's Wrestling Room
Opening in the 1970s, the King's Wrestling Room has been a premier place to practice and improve over the years for the King's wrestling team. Housed in the McGrane Gymnasium, it serves the main practice facility for King's regionally-renowned wrestling program. The King's wrestling room features a coaches office, along with meeting space and four regulation mats. Many of King's All-Americans and National Champions have trained in this space, and banners and plaques commemorating their achievements still dawn the walls of the King's wrestling room.
In 2021, newly appointed head coach Josh Roosa took on the task of making state-of-the-art upgrades and renovations to the facility that included space for weight training and increased fitness, a sound system, and replaced padding and mats throughout the facility. The graphics, art, and branding was also updated to reclaim the King's wrestling room as a premiere location to house All-American contenders and regional champions.
