Scandlon Natatorium

The Scandlon Natatorium is housed in the Scandlon Physical Education Center and is home to the King’s College’s men’s & women’s swimming teams, while also providing lap swimming to the King’s College faculty/staff, alumni, and students.  The natatorium boasts six 25-yard lanes with KDI Paragon starting blocks in each lane and ample deck space to hold multiple team dual meets.

The facility also has spectator seating separate from the deck that can hold approximately 200 spectators. In addition, there are team locker rooms for both men’s & women’s swim teams, as well as general locker room space for general use. Finally, in the winter of 2017 the College purchased a new dehumidification system which allows for better and cleaner air to flow through the facility.

In January of 2016, through a generous donor, the swim teams added a state of the art six-lane Colorado Timing Systems scoreboard. And in the summer of 2018, the program purchased a new record board that now showcases both the team records and pool records performed over the history of swimming at King’s College.
