MEN'S SWIMMING DOWNS DREW
MADISON, NJ --- The King's College men's swim team defeated Drew University 93-74 Saturday in Madison, NJ to improve to 3-6 on the year.
Individually for the men's sqaud was freshman Josh Debellas, who won the 1,000 yard freestyle in a time of 12:05.80, and a second place finish in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:28.78.
Fellow freshman Jack Harrington grabbed the top spots in both the 200 yard freestyle in 1:59.17 and the 100 yard freestyle in 54.12.
Sophomore Eric Stencovage finished first in the 100 yard breast in 1:07.78. Stencovage and freshman Dave Washick then finished one-two in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 24.73 and 24.80 respectively. Freshman Brandon Senese grab the top spot in the 200 yard individual medley at 2:26.95 and also in the 100 yard butterfly with a 1:02.89. The 200 yard medley relay saw the King's team of Senese, Stencovage, Washick and Jack Harrington first to the wall in a time of 1:50.20.
Both the men's and women's squads will be back in action Wednesday when King's hosts FDU-Florham and Lycoming College at the Wilkes-Barre Catholic Youth Center. The events are set to go off at 6:00pm.
