KING'S SWIMMERS FALL TO ELIZABETHTOWN

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College swimming teams dropped respective decisions to visiting Elizabethtown College Wednesday in Scandlon Gymnasium. The Lady Monarchs fell by 130-54 count while the men's squad dropped a 99-18 decision.
For the men, Eric Stencovage won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:37.37 and was third in the 200 freestyle at 2:09.63. Mart Lysy was third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.94 as well as in the 100 freestyle at 1:07.39.
For the women, Maggie Nealer was second in the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:21.21 as well as in the 500 freestyle at 5:47.15. Susie Hughes placed second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:49.35. Becca Smith touched second in the 200 backstroke with a 2:33.20 while Krystna Homanko won the 200 breaststroke with a 3:09.86. Additionally, King's 200 freestyle relay team of Susie Hughes, Stephanie Hughes, Smith, and Amanda Casey won with a time of 2:01.72.
