KING'S MEN'S SWIMMING FALLS 103-62 AT CABRINI COLLEGE
RADNOR, PA -- The King's College men's swimming team dropped a 103-62 decision at Cabrini College Friday night. The loss marks the first for the Monarchs of the 2010-2011 season.
King's stands 1-1 overall on the year following the meet.
Joshua DeBellas led King's with a first place finish in the 1000 freestyle at 11:53.35. DeBellas captured second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:25.96. Eric Stencovage took first in the 100 breaststroke at 1:06.15, and a second place finish in the 100 backstroke at 1:03.86.
Other notable finishes for King's included two second place finishes from Jack Harrington in both the 200 freestyle (2:02.87) and 100 freestyle (54.86). Eric Wescoat captured second place in the breaststroke behind Stencovage at 1:12.71. The King's 400 medley relay team of Justin Weilert, Wescoat, Stencovage, and Harrington took first place with a time of 3:46.22.
King's will return to the pool next Friday when the Monarchs travel to Lebanon Valley College for a meet scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
