SCRANTON GOLFERS DOWN KING'S, 317-346
WILKES-BARRE -- Chris Shank earned medalist honors with a three over-par 75 to lead the University of Scranton gold team to a 317-346 victory over host King's College Monday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club, Wilkes-Barre.
Scranton received tremendous balance with three players firing an 80 or below. Joining Shank was Justin Reilly who was third overall with a 77. Jamie Bresnahan carded an 80 while Rob Bresnahan rounded out the top-four scorers with an 85.
For King's, Frank Schiel posted a solid 76, good enough for second overall. Joe Santino followed with an 88 while Justin Eimers and Jerry Lewis posted identical scores of 91. Additionally for King's, Ian Oakley scored a 95.
