KING'S GOLFERS FALL TO SCRANTON, MISERICORDIA
MOOSIC, Pa.--Freshman Chris Schank shot an even-par 71 to lead The University of Scranton to a pair of victories over Misericordia University, 314-328, and King's College, 314-331, Wednesday at Glenmaura National Golf Club.
The Royals also received a 78 from freshman Justin Riley, an 80 from senior Brian Flanagan and a pair of 85s from senior Michael Dwier and sophomore Rob Bresnahan.
Brian Marzolino and Bucky Aeppli led the Cougars with 74 and 80, respectively, while Tom McGrath posted the low round for the Monarchs with a 76. Jake Humphreys shot a 83 while Justin Eimers carded am 84. Jerry Lewis rounded out the King's lineup with an 88.
Schank's 71 today was his season-low round.
King's will compete in the 36-hole Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational this Sunday and Monday, April 25-26.
