King's Golfers Split with Scranton, Misericordia

KING'S GOLFERS GO 1-1 IN TRI-MEET WITH SCRANTON, MISERICORDIA

MOOSIC -- The King's College golf team went 1-1 in a tri-meet with local rivals Scranton and Misericordia Wednesday at Glenmaura National Golf Course, Moosic.

King's fell to Scranton 328-350, but the Monarchs bested Misericordia 350-366.

Tom McGrath paced the Monarchs with an 85 at the par-71 course. Justin Eimers and Eric Jesikiewicz followed with identical scores of 88, while Joe Santino was the final Monarch to score, carding an 89. T.J. Maderia also played for KIng's and shot a 106.

Misericordia's Bucky Aeppli shot a red-hot 70 to claim medlaist honors. No other golfer shot below 80 for the day.
