KING'S MEN'S SWIM TEAM DOWNED BY ALBRIGHT
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's swim team dropped a 128-61 verdict to visiting Albright College Saturday in Scandlon Gymnsium.
Justin Weilert captured the 1,000-freestyle with a 11:19.66.
Kyle Newton won the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:05.35 and was second in the 100-freestyle at 51.62.
Mike Sweeney was third in the 200-freestyle at 1:53.40 as well as in the 500-freestyle with a 5:15.64.
Lucas Crock was third in the 50-freestyle with a 25.00. Richie Guth was third in the 100-backstroke with a 1:07.65.
King's team of Sweeney, Newton, Joe Westcoat, and
Jack Harrington won the 200-freestyle relay with a time of 1:40.50.
King's will close out the regular-season Saturday when the Lady Monarchs host Elizabethtown College at 1:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
