MONARCH SWIMMERS DOWNED BY ELIZABETHTOWN

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's swim team prepped for the upcoming Middle Atlantic Conference Championships as the Monarchs wrapped up their regular-season with a 109-68 loss to visiting Elizabethtown College Saturday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
The Monarchs closed out their season with a 5-7 record
Kyle Newton captured the 200-individual medley with a 2:10.97 and the 100-freestyle at 52.50.
Lucas Crock was second in the 50-freestyle with a time of 24.59.
Justin Weilert touched second in the 200-butterfly at 2:28.85.
Richie Guth was second in the 200-backstroke with a 2:27.90 while Matt Dickson was second in the 200-breaststroke at 2:34.62
King's will be idle until competing in the MAC Championships February 10-12 at the Wilkes-Barre Catholic Youth Center.
