King's Golfers Top FDU 324-329 in Spring Debut

KING'S GOLFERS OPEN SECOND SEMESTER WITH 324-329 WIN OVER FDU

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College golf team opened the second semester of play with a 324-329 victory over visiting FDU-Florham Wednesday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.

King's Justin Eimers posted the top score of the day with a 75. He was joined by Monarch teammates Eric Jesikiewicz, who was tied for second with a 79, and fellow King's players Jake Humphreys, Ian Oakley, and Kyle Newton who were deadlocked in a five-way tie for seventh with identical scores of 85.

FDU was led by Daniel Bentson with a 79 while Billy King (82), Tim Krull (84), and David May (84).


King's will be idle until next Thursday (3/29) when the Monarchs compete in the Moravian Invitational.
