KING'S GOLFERS FALL TO SCRANTON, WILKES IN TRI-MEET
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College golf team finished third in a tri-meet against local rivals University of Scranton and Wilkes University Monday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.
Scranton won the competition with a team score of 308, followed by Wilkes (331) and King's (344).
Scranton's Jamie Bresnahan and Erik Meyer shared medalist honors with a five-over par 76. Chaz Hudcek of Scranton was third with a 77 while Wilkes' Mike Daubert and Jeremy Nolt tied for fourth at 78 while King's first-year junior Joe Caffrey carded a team-high 79. Other Monarchs included Ryan Hettes (92), Ryan Boyle (95), and Tom McGrath (99).
Wilkes was aided by Anthony Gagliostro (86), Arlindo Isidoro (89), Jonathan Nagar (99) and Fred Tolerico (101) rounded out the Colonels players. Scranton was also bolstered by Grant Gulick (79), Brandon Gano (81), and Andrew Loyak (82).
