MONARCH MEN SWIMMERS GO 1-1 WITH LYCOMING, FDU

FULL RESULTS

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's swim team went 1-1 in a tri-meet with Lycoming College and FDU-Florham Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.

The King's men defeated FDU 157-61 while dropping a 166-76 decision to Lycoming.

Mike Sweeney touched first in the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:21.48 . In the men's 200 freestyle, Mike Sweeney was second with a time of 1:51.92.

Justin Weilert won the 400-individual medley with a 4:59.64. Kyle Newton was second in the 100-backstroke with a 1:00.02.

In the 50-freestyle, Andrew Reimann was third at 24.37 while Dane Darnell finished fourth with a 24.72. Matt Dickson was second in the 200-breaststroke with a 2:33.30.

King's team of Sweeney, Darnell, Newton, and Reimann won the 200-freestyle relay at 1:36.07.

King's will return to the pool Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. matchup at Albright College in Reading.
