KING'S SWIMMERS FALL TO MISERICORDIA
FULL RESULTS
DALLAS -- The King's College men's and women's swim teams both fell to host Misericordia University Wednesday night at the Anderson Center in Dallas.
The Lady Monarchs fell 128-57 while the Monarch men dropped a 126-54 decision.
For the women, Brigid Wynn captured the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:06.35 and was second in the 100-backstroke at 1:06.25. Macawley Brown was second in the 100-butterfly at 1:01.73 while Rachel Jonas was second in the 100-breaststrole with a 1:15.87.
On the men's side, Josh Shoemaker was second in the 200-freestyle with a 1:57.85. Joe Ciccarelli was second in the 100-butterfly at 58.08. Kyle Newton touched second in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:00.35. Mike Sweeney was second in the 500-freestyle at 5:11.31. The Monarch 200-freestyle relay team of Newton, Ciccarelli, Andrew Reimann, and Justin Weilert finished first with a time of 1:36.19.
King's returns to action Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. matchup at Mt. St. Mary's College in Newburgh, NY.
