King's Golfers Tie BBC, Fall to Scranton in Tri-Meet

KING'S GOLFERS TIE BBC, FALL TO SCRANTON IN TRI-MEET

MOOSIC -- The King's College golf team tied with Baptist Bible College but fell to the University of Scranton in a triangular match Thursday at Glenmaura National Golf Course in Moosic.

King's tied Baptist Bible 373-373, but fell to Scranton 346-373.

Joe Caffrey topped King's with an 86 while Ian Oakley was second at 92. Kyle Newton (97), Ryan Boyle (98), and Tom McGrath (122) rounded out the Monarch players.

Luke Peterson of Baptist Bible won medalist honors with a 76 while Scranton's Kevin Kucharski finished second at 81. Jordan Greve of Baptist Bible was third at 85.

King's will next compete in the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational Sunday at Monday.
