King's Golfers Place Third at Marywood Quad-MatchMoosic, Pa. -- The King's College golf team posted a third place finish in a quad-match with Marywood, University of Scranton and Baptist Bible at Glenmaura Country Club Thrusday afternoon.
Marywood took top honors with a score of 334, with Scranton a close second with a 339. The Monarchs posted a 357 while Baptist Bible came in with a 404.
Scranton's Erik Meier earned medalist honors shooting a 76 (+5) while Marywood's Devan Crowley scored a 78 for second place.
Shamus Gartley was the Monarchs' top golfer finishing tied for sixth with an 84.
Ryan Hettes added an 86 to the Monarchs score good for eighth.
The Monarchs are back at Glenmaura on Sunday and Monday as part of the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational.
