KING'S SWIMMERS FALL TO MISERICORDIA

DALLAS -- The King's College swim teams wrapped of the first semester of competition with a pair of respective loses to MAC rival Misericordia Thursday night in Dallas.
The Misericordia men won by a 112-70 count while the women posted a 130-63 triumph.
For the men Bryce Groshardt set a school record in winning the 1000-freestyle with a time of 10:37.89. He was also second in the 100-freestyle at 51.42.
Nate Dubbs was second in the 200-freestyle at 1:54.46 and in the 500-freestyle with a 5:14.63. Chris Soutter was second in the 100-butterfly with a 1:01.48. Randill DeAsis was second in the 100-breaststroke at 1:05.92.
King's team of Groshardt, Dubbs, Aaron Griffith, and Josh Shoemaker were winners in the 200-freestyle relay with a 1:34.69
For the women Brigid Wynn was a winner with a time of 2:09.84. Lauren Pham touched second in the 100-butterfly at 1:05.36. Rachel Jonas was second in the 100-freestyle with a 1:00.30 and in the 100-breaststroke at 1:16.02.
Katie Fitch was second in the 500-freestyle at 5:44.28.
King's will now be idle until a tri-meet at Messiah College on January 14.
