King's Golfers Edged by Marywood in Battle of 2015 NCAA National Qualifiers

MARYWOOD GOLFERS EDGE KING'S IN BATTLE OF 2015 NCAA QUALIFIERS

WILKES-BARRE -- In a battle of 2015 NCAA Division III National Tournament qualifiers, visiting Marywood University edged host King's College 304-307 in a non-conference dual meet Thursday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.

Marywood, which won the Colonial States Athletic Conference last season, was led by Jesse Bingaman who earned medalist honors with a 74 on the par-70 course. Michael Thomas followed with a 75 while Dalton Deardorff was tied for fourth at 77. King's, which won the Freedom Conference crown in the spring, was paced by freshman Ryan Crossin who was third overall with a 76.  

King's, which had four golfers score rounds of under 80, were also led by Shamus Gartley, Ryan Georgetti, and Ryan Tracy who all tied for fourth with a 77. Marywood's Nick Johnson was eighth with a 78 while King's Mike Post as ninth at 79. Monarch teammate Tony Morrash finished 10th.
