KING'S GOLFERS FINISH 2ND IN TRI-MATCH WITH SCRANTON AND WILKESDALLAS, PA --- The King's College golf team finished second in a tri-match with the University of Scranton and Wilkes University on Tuesday afternoon at the Huntsville Golf Club in Dallas.
Scranton won the match with a four player score of 323. The Monarchs were second with a 363 while Wilkes finished third with a score of 367.
Matthew Kane won medalist honors for the Royals with a two-over par 74 while David Harris, Kyle Hayes and Steven Lambrinakos all finished in a tie for third each shooting an 83.
Ryan Hettes was the Monarchs top golfer of the day shooting an 81 and finishing in second place.
Alex Rowan finished in 9
th shooting a 91,
Kris Carr finished 10
th with a 94, and
Carmen Dellia was 11
th with a 97.
The Monarchs will be back in action on Wednesday when they host FDU-Florham and the University of Scranton in a tri-match at the Wyoming Valley Country Club at 1:00 p.m.
