KING'S GOLFERS PREP FOR FREEDOM CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH WIN OVER FDU

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College golf team prepped for this weekend's Freedom Conference Championships with a dual-meet victory over visiting FDU-Florham Wednesday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.  King's, the defending Freedom champions, won the meet 313-328.

The Monarchs had the top three finishers in the event. Bill Dombroski captured medalist honors for King's with a three-over par 75 while teammates Ryan Georgetti was second at 77 while Shamus Gartley tallied a 79. Ryan Crossin and Corey Palma were locked in a four-way tie for fifth with scores of 82. 

The Freedom Conference Championships will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Hersey Country Club.
