KING'S GOLFERS DOWN FDU, 305-339
WILKES-BARRE —
Ryan Georgetti fired a three-over par 73 to claim medalist honors as the King's College golf team posted a 305-339 victory over visiting FDU-Florham Tuesday at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. King's improved to 4-0 with the victory.
The Monarchs dominated the event with the top-six finishers in the event. Following Georgetti was
Ryan Crossin (77),
Bill Dombroski (77),
Corey Palma (78),
Tyler Papura (79), and
Dean Canale, who was sixth with a 81. Carmen Delia was King's final player, scoring a 92 to finish 13 among the 15-player field.
FDU was paced by Chris Budd who was seventh with an 83.
The Monarchs will be idle until September 28 when King's hosts a tri-match with Wilkes and Misericordia at the Wyoming Valley Country Club.
