KING'S GOLFERS OPEN SPRING SEASON WITH 310-341 WIN OVER WILKES

LEHMAN -- After weeks of waiting to take to the links due to several weather-related cancellations, the King's College golf team finally took to the course, opening its spring campaign with a 310-341 victory over cross-town rival Wilkes University at Huntsville Golf Club in Lehman.

Andrew Crossin and Bill Dombroski shared medalist honors for King's after shooting identical scores of 77. Ryan Georgetti and Ryan Crossin were right behind for the Monarchs as both players carded scores of 78. King's Tyler Papura was sixth with a 83.

Chris Nixon topped Wilkes with a 82 to finish sixth.
