DALLAS, PA (September 23, 2019) -- At Irem Temple Country Club, the King's College men's golf team defeated local rival Misericordia University, 346-392, and fell to the Univesity of Scranton, 325-346, to improve to 3-3 for the fall season.
Junior
Matt Havrilla led the Monarchs, placing second overall and posting a 79 this afternoon. Freshman
Tyler Faux and sophomore
Justin McMillan were the other top-Monarch performers today, as Faux placed second for King's and tied for sixth overall, with an 87 and McMillan finished third for King's and ninth overall with an 89.
The other top Monarch performers for the match were senior
Tyler Papura with a 91 and sophomore Nick Kurzinsky with a 99.
The Monarchs are back in action Thursday, September 26 as they face the Royals of the University of Scranton and the Pacers of Marywood University on their home course at Wyoming Valley Country Club, starting at 1:00 pm.
