WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 30, 2019) -- Freshmen duo
Tyler Faux and
Ryan Ciocco helped lead the King's College men's golf team to victory in today's match at home against local Misericordia University. As a team, the Monarchs out-scored the Cougars, 327-407, as they placed five in the top six for the match.
On the par-70 course, Faux posted a match-low 76 (+6)Â to lead the Monarchs, while Ciocco placed third overall, totaling a 79 (+9) for the match. Sophomore
Justin McMillan also performed well as he placed fourth with an 83 (+13). Other top Monarch performers were Nick Kurzinsky, who posted an 89 (+19), and Joe Petrillo, who shot a 93 (+23).
The Monarchs are back in action on Friday, October 4 as they close out the fall season against the University of Scranton and Wilkes University, starting at 1:00 pm.
