PITTSTON, PA (February 1, 2020) --- As the King's College women's ice hockey team wore special jersey to spread ALS Awareness on Saturday evening from Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston, the Monarchs saw their six game scoring streak come to an end in a hard fought 3-0 defeat at the hands of Lebanon Valley College.
The Monarchs (2-14-1, 1-9-0 UCHC, 1-5-0 MAC), who were playing in just their fourth home game of the year, gave their fans plenty to cheer about but were unable to get any puck past the NCAA all-time save leader in LVC's Jill Moffatt. Pitta would tally her second goal of the game in the third period to close out the scoring. The sophomore finished with two goals while Cindrich had a goal and an assist.
