WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 3, 2021) -- The King's College women's golf team and sophomore
Paula Moon earned wins this afternoon in their head-to-head match with cross-town rival Wilkes University in their 2021 fall finale. The Monarchs defeated the Colonels, 368-388, while Moon earned the individual low medalist honor with a round of 81 (+10) on the par-71 course at Wyoming Valley Country Club.
Several Monarchs recorded career-low rounds in the match, including senior
Angela Vigliotti with a score of 84 (+13) to tie for second overall with Wilkes' top finisher in Sarah Sorber.
Wilkes was also led by Gwen MacConnell with her total score of 91 (+20).
First year
Mady Pendolphi totaled a round of 94 (+23), while junior
Emma Knoll posted a career-low 109 (+38) to round out the Monarch golfers for the afternoon.
