MECHANICSBURG, PA (October 30, 2021) --- The King's College men's swimming team posted a win over Hood College, but were defeated by Widener and host Messiah at Saturday's quad meet in Mechanicsburg, PA.
The squad started off the day with a fifth place finish in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:47.52.
Anthony Ursini continued his strong start to the season placing third in the 1000 free with a 10:57.59.Â
Jared Stephan swam a 1:53.47 in the 200 free to notch second, while
Kyle Altman booked a 23.43 in the 50 free for fifth place.
Austin Morris finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.64.
Erik Aguero followed up with a third place finish of his own in the 200 butterfly with a 2:04.84.
Stephan claimed second place again in the 500 free when he clocked a 5:12.97.
Kris Boxter came in fourth in the 200 breast stroke at 2:22.18.
The Monarchs finished off the day on a high note, placing second in the 200 free relay at 1:33.70.

The squad returns to the pool next Friday at Lebanon Valley College. The dual meet is schedule for 6:00 pm in Annville, Pa.
