Men's Swimming Tops Lebanon Valley 119-74

ANNVILLE, PA (November 5, 2021) --- The King's College men's swimming team came out victorious at Lebanon Valley College on Friday evening posting a 119-74 win thanks to a strong team performance.

The squad started off the night placing second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:00.69, less than a second off the first place team. 

Erik Aguero earned the first win of the night for the Monarchs in the 800 free at 9:46.86, nearly two minutes ahead of the second place finisher.

Anthony Ursini and Brent Forry went 1-2 in the 200 free with times of 2:11.97 and 2:21.63 respectively. 

Kyle Altman kept the wins coming in the 50 free with an impressive swim of 25.76.

Jared Stephan and Kris Boxter then went 1-2 in the 200 IM at 2:25.14 and 2:32.69 respectively. 

Andrew Pursel swam a 58.85 in the 100 free to claim first, Boxter finished right behind him at 1:00.97 to earn second.

Joel Williams and Anthony Ursini place 2-3 in the 100 back with time of 1:08.69 and 1:10.20.

Stephan followed suit with a win in the 400 free at 4:33.28, while Austin Morris notched second at 4:48.10.

Altman earned his second victory of the night in the 100 breast, while Alex Schwartz and Matt Lowry came second and third respectively. 

The Monarchs ended the night in strong fashion with a first place finish in the 200 free relay at 1:48.21.

KC will return to the pool next Friday, November 12 at 6:00 pm when they host Arcadia University at Scandlon Pool.
