DALLAS, PA (April 14, 2021) -- First-year Paula Moon continued to shine in her first collegiate season, recording a match-low and career-low 74 (+2) on the par-72 course at Irem Temple Country Club. As a team, King's posted the tri-match split, narrowly falling to the host Misericordia University, 442-441, and defeating cross-town rival Wilkes University, 442-458.

The highlight of the match came on the par-4 8th hole as Moon recorded an eagle as part of her match-winning efforts. Misericordia's Maddy Wharton placed second overall with an 84 (+12), while Wilkes' Lauren Golden finished third as she totaled a 90 (+18).

Junior Angela Vigliotti continued to be a solid contributor for the Monarchs, finishing fourth overall with a 104 (+32). Sophomore Emma Knoll also shot well, tying for a sixth-place finish and shooting a 118 (+46), good for her career-low round that beat out her previous low-round set in the season opener on March 28. Senior Josée Aitken rounded out the top Monarch finishers, recording a 146 (+74) for the match.

King's will finish their scheduled matches for the 2021 season on Saturday, April 17th as they travel across town to Wilkes for a tri-match with Wilkes and Misericordia at Wilkes' home course at Huntsville Golf Club. Tee time is set for 1:00 p.m.
