LEHMAN, PA (April 20, 2021) -- A trio of Monarchs placed in the top five overall as the King's College men's golf team recorded a 344-359 win over cross-town rival Wilkes University at Huntsville Golf Club to wrap up the 2021 regular season with a win.
Senior
Matt Havrilla led the way for the Monarchs, recording a second-place finish overall with a score of 82 (+10) on the par-72 course. Sophomore
Tyler Faux placed third just one stroke behind Havrilla, totaling an 83 (+11), and junior
Nicholas Kurzinsky fell right after the pair, tying for a fourth-place finish and adding an 85 (+13) effort.
Andrew Finke from Wilkes won the 11-person field with a score of 77 (+5).
Sophomore
Joe Petrillo was just one stroke off from his career-best round, recording a 94 (+22) on the afternoon. Junior
Zach Edwards rounds out the top Monarch performers on the day, totaling a 103 (+31).
King's will be back on the course this weekend as they travel back to Huntsville Golf Club to compete in the 2021 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championships with the opening round beginning on Saturday, May 1st.
