Moon Leads Women's Golf to Home Tri-Match Split

WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 18, 2021) -- Paula Moon earned medalist honors, posting a match-low 75 (+4) for the match as the King's College women's golf team split their home tri-match with a score of 387. The University of Scranton won the team contest with a score of 351, while Wilkes University posted a 447 at Wyoming Valley Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

Scranton was led by Maddy Buhler with an 84 (+13) and Emma Nemitz (+85), and Wilkes earned their top score from Sarah Sorber with a 90 (+28).

First year Mady Pendolphi recorded her career-low in just her second afternoon on the course, totaling a 98 (+27), while senior Angela Vigliotti posted a score of 102 (+31). Junior Emma Knoll rounded out the top Monarchs performers with a round of 112 (+41).

King's is back in action next Saturday, September 25 as they travel to Huntsville Golf Club for a tri-match with Wilkes and Scranton at 1:00 p.m.
