LEHMAN, PA (September 25, 2021) -- Sophomore
Paula Moon continued to shine for the King's College women's golf team this afternoon as she recorded a career-low round of 73 (+1) on the par-72 course at Huntsville Golf Club on Saturday afternoon to earn individual medalist honors.
The Monarchs split the tri-match, posting a 367 (+79) as a team to defeat the host Wilkes University, 417 (+129), while falling to the University of Scranton, 363 (+75).
Scranton's Madalyne Buhler placed second overall to lead the Lady Royals with a round of 83 (+11). Wilkes was led by Sarah Sorber who finished third overall in the 12-person field, shooting an 84 (+12).
First year
Mady Pendolphi finished second among the Monarchs golfers, totaling a 91 (+19) for the afternoon. In her 2021 debut, senior Josée Aitken recorded her career-low round of 92 (+20), and junior
Emma Knoll rounded out the King's golfers with a round of 111 (+39).
The King's women's golf team wraps up their fall schedule next Sunday, October 3 as they host Wilkes and Misericordia at Wyoming Valley Country Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
