DALLAS, PA (September 30, 2021) -- In their 2021 fall finale, the King's College men's golf team defeated cross-town rival Wilkes University, 351-355, in a head-to-head match at Huntsville Golf Club on Thursday afternoon.
On the par-72 course, junior
Tyler Faux led the Monarchs with a second-place overall finish posting an 83 (+11). The Colonels' Cole Jungwirth earned the individual title with a 79 (+7), while his teammate Michael Sherrick recorded an 82 (+10).
First year J.P. Gilroy totaled an 86 (+14) in his collegiate debut with Kings, while teammate Nick Kurzinsky shot a 90 (+18). To round out the top Monarch golfers in the afternoon were junior Joseph Petrillo with a round of 92 (+20) and sophomore
Michael Conflitti with a score of 94 (+22).
