DALLAS, PA (April 14, 2022) -- Sophomore
Michael Conflitti posted a top-five finish to lead the King's College men's golf team in a 327-369 loss to Misericordia University at Irem Temple Golf Club on a rainy Thursday afternoon.
On the par-72 course, Conflitti carded a 13-over 85 to tie for third overall. Misericordia's Ethan Zawatski earned individual medalist honors as he shot a 75 (+3) for the match.
Senior
Nicholas Kurzinsky recorded a round of 87 (+15), while junior
Joe Petrillo shot a 19-over 91 for the round. First year
Gavin Ruger posted a score of 106 (+34), while sophomore
Melvin Meyer shot a 109 (+37) to round out the Monarch golfers in the match.
King's will see action one more time to prepare for the MAC Freedom championships as they take on cross-town rival Wilkes University at Huntsville Golf Club. Tee time is set for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20.
