TUNKHANNOCK, PA (September 4, 2022) -- In their first outing of their fall 2022 season, the King's College women's golf team saw junior
Evie Williams earn individual medalist honors with a low-round score of 80 (+9) to lead the Monarchs in a tough 360-382 loss over the University of Scranton at Stonehedge Golf Club.
On the par-71 course, Williams edged out Scranton's top golfer in Madalyne Buhler who posted an 81 (+10) for the afternoon. Scranton's Victoria Dowling finished third overall as she carded an 86 (+15), while Kate Pagano of Scranton and junior
Paula Moon tied for fourth with a round of 89 (+18).
King's also saw solid performances from sophomore
Mady Pendolphi as she posted a score of 98 (+27) for the round. Senior
Emma Grace Knoll rounded out the Monarch women's golfers in the match with a score of 115 (+44).
The Monarchs will be back in action on Thursday, September 8 as they compete in the Albright Lady Lion Invitational at Schuylkill Country Club with tee time set for 2:00 p.m.
