DALLAS, PA (October 10, 2023) -- JP Gilroy and Bryce Burgit finished second and third, respectively, as the pair helped lead the King's College men's golf team to a 353-374 win over the host Misericordia University in their fall 2023 finale.
 
On the par-72 course at Irem Temple Golf Club, Gilroy placed second with a round of 83 (+11), and Burgit finished just one stroke back with a score of 84 (+12). Misericordia's Brett Herman earned individual medalist honors with a match-low score of 79 (+7).
 
Gavin Ruger was next to place for the Monarchs, rounding out the top five as he carded a round of 92 (+20), and he was followed by Jackson Grozelle with a score of 94 (+22) for the match. Jack Olson wrapped up the King's golfers in the match with a round of 106 (+34) in the afternoon.
 
King's will break until the spring season as they prepare for the upcoming Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) tournament in late April.
