DALLAS, PA (March 30, 2023) -- Tyler Faux earned individual medalist honors to lead the King's men's golf team over the host Misericordia University and Wilkes University for a strong start to their 2023 spring schedule. The Monarchs posted a match-low score of 329, while the Colonels finished second with a round of 347, and the Cougars placed third in the tri-match with a score of 348.
 
Faux won the match with a low-round of 79 (+7) on the par-72 course at Irem Golf Club. There was a three-way tie for second between JP Gilroy, Misericordia's Colin Bowanko, and Wilkes' Cole Jungwirth as they posted a score of 80 (+8).
 
Joseph Petrillo placed sixth overall as he carded a round of 84 (+12), while both Michael Conflitti and Gavin Ruger also finished in the top 10 with Conflitti posting a round of 86 (+14) and Ruger recorded a score of 87 (+15). Melvin Meyer rounded out the King's finishers with a score of 109 (+37).
 
The Monarchs will be back in action on Monday, April 3 as they travel to Huntsville Golf Club to take on Wilkes and the University of Scranton. Tee time is set for 1:00 p.m.
